Our clients in the finance industry are currently looking for a mobile bank sysadmin to join their team.

Responsibilities: 

  • System administration of Ferratum mobile bank infrastructure,
  • System architecture design and implementation (preparation and design new environments),
  • Trouble shooting, problem determination and implementing solutions and fixes
  • Management of virtual Windows and Linux servers, ensuring system performance and availability, monitoring,
  • Conduct daily IT Infrastructure checks and proactively solve upcoming issues,
  • Middleware administration,
  • Network administration,
  • IT security tasks,
  • Optional DB administration (MySQL, MSSQL, DB2 and others),
  • Batch/Cron jobs management,
  • Prepare, conduct and report on Business Continuity testing,
  • Processing of access control requests (local & bank countries),
  • Maintain an up to date technical documentation,
  • Monitor adherence to IT Policies & Procedures such as email & internet usage, access management, end point security, backups, etc.,
  • Bank Domains Management (registration, renewals, etc.),
  • SWIFT administration,
  • On call duties,
  • Deployments, backups, restores for app and DB (production and test environments),
  • Working pro-actively with development and support teams
  • Adopting DevOps culture - bring innovations in a real, use automation to reduce manual repetitive work

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of proven working experience from maintaining and managing IT infrastructure in some of the following areas Network (LAN, WAN)
  • Firewall
  • VPN
  • Load balancers
  • Storage and backup
  • VMware
  • Active Directory
  • DNS
  • Linux/WIN sys-administration
  • English language on active level (both oral and written)
  • Real experience with a DevOPS culture, related techniques and tools applicable in cloud or hybrid cloud infrastructures are considered as big plus
  • Problem solving and hands-on attitude toward your work, team and colleague
