Junior Business Development Executive

Our company, a leading technology firm, is looking for a Business Development Executive to increase is software, web-application and digital marketing sales in its key markets: Brussels, UK and Malta.

Mandatory requirements for the role:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in ICT, marketing or business management.
  • 2+ years of proven experience in software sales (business development), reaching a minimum target of €100,000 in sales turnover annually. 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks at a time.
  • Experience in the use and sale of key CMS software technologies such as WordPress or SiteCore.
  • Understanding of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Good grounding in digital marketing.
  • Ability to complete technical documents and able to iterate through the client's requirements in phases. 
  • Must have a high level understanding of Web based software technology.
  • One signed, positive reference from a previous employer.

Optional requirements for the role which will be considered an asset

  • Industry certification in related fields (such as ITIL, Prince2 or Scrum).
  • Exceptional writing and presenting skills.
  • Experience in responding to international tenders (whether for public or private sector).
  • Experience in an agile/scrum software development environment a plus.
