Our client in the Finance sector is seeking a Head of Business Development to lead efforts on growing their business.


  • Establishing and growing industry relationships
  • Thorough grounding in the competitive landscape 
  • Actively networking and building relationships with key players
  • Identifying market opportunities
  • Regularly travel to meet prospective customers directly or at conference events
  • Building and maintaining a high-level of contact with current and prospective customers
  • Create cross-selling opportunities in support of business units in order to boost organic growth and enhance the group’s position
  • Developing and updating in-depth corporate presentations
  • Collaborating strategically with the Marketing team to augment B2B communication
  • Growing the company’s Business Introducer network
  • Establishing a business development team
  • Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the business development processes and report upon key metrics
  • Supporting the Chief Financial Officer in the development of annual financial revenue projections


  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in a business development role
  • 5+ years’ experience in the financial services industry
  • Proven track record and ability to develop a strong opportunities pipeline
  • Proven experience conducting and negotiating deals
  • Demonstrated ability to work hands-on, creatively and effectively in a fast-paced environment
