General Manager

Our client is currently looking for a general manager to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development, management and overall profitability of the business both locally and internationally
  • Report to the Board of PTL and to the Chief Executive Officer
  • Aligns operations to the company’s strategic plans and manages the finance, marketing, commercial, human resources and operational teams effectively and sustainably
  • Involves the generation of new business and the development of innovative solutions to local and international clients to achieve growth and to meet commercial goals
  • Working closely with the operations team, leads the planning, organisation, and coordination of the company
  • In liaison with Human Resources, the General Manager ensures that well-trained, motivated and customer-centric management and technical teams are in place
  • Builds trust with the team while maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders


Requirements:

  • Minimum five years’ experience in a senior management role, preferably gained in the information technology industry 
  • Be able to demonstrate a solid track record driving business growth and excellence in customer service
  • Have a clear understanding of emerging information technologies and their application
  • be able to lead a dynamic team in a competitive environment
  • Possess strong decision-making and communication skills, leadership qualities and business acumen to develop both the business and its people
