Food & Beverage Manager

Our Client in the Hospitality industries is currently looking for a Food & Beverage Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead by example, stressing attention to detail.  
  • Care and be efficient in giving the personal service to guests
  • Sales awareness and personal initiative.
  • Focuses on all presentation in all matters relating to food and beverage and ensures a flow of creative ideas.
  • Establishes high standards of behavior in dealings with guests and staff
  • Establishes service quality standards for each food and beverage outlet
  • Ensures a consistently high standard of skills
  • Liaises with the Events Sales Manager and Groups department in relation to functions
  • Responsible for HACCP implementation and deals with regular health authority visits
  • Attends meetings as requested and instructed
  • Is compliant with Audio visual requirements in relation to functions and conferrence set ups
  • Oversees evening entertainment and in house animation team in relation to F&B outlets
  • Assist the purchasing department in procurement related to F&B dept
  • Assist HR in staff relations, discipline, interviews and any other matters
  • Ensures ongoing planned training for each outlet, to develop staff to their full potential
  • Co-operates and forms a team with other members of management and be supportive and loyal to the company
  • Ensures that the standard telephone procedure is adhered to
  • Take environmentally friendly initiatives such as using recycling paper for internal use
  • Comply with Company Grooming Standards and time and Attendance Policies
  • Actively participate in training and development programs and maximize opportunities for self-development   
  • Assisting guests at any time with their requests
  • Demonstrate understanding and awareness of all policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Safety
  • Familiarize with emergency and evacuation procedures
  • Ensure all security incidents, accidents are always logged in a timely manner and brought to the attention of your manager
  • Be aware of the hotel's conservation of energy saving policies
  • Co-operates with the team and members of management and be supportive and loyal to the company
  • Meets any other request given by the Operations Manager or the General Manager
