Factoring Associate

Our client in the Finance industry is looking for a Factoring Associate to join their team.

Responsibilities:
  • Ongoing business support as MedFactors continues to develop as a profitable and growing department;
  • Preparing verbal and written sales presentations;
  • Participating in marketing programs or events for networking purposes and promotion of FIMBank offers;
  • Liaising with Factoring Operations and other FIMBank departments as required by business needs;
  • Work closely with Client and International Manager and/or Head of Factoring Department on new business transactions for structuring terms, and assisting in preparing written presentations for submission to management;
  • Study and evaluate new activities, policies, programs, services and markets related to the functions of new business development;
  • Manage closing process for transactions that have been approved;
  • Enter and maintain all prospective and active client data in contact management system;
  • Complies with established processes and procedures;
  • Prepares special reports as requested, and
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, accounting or equivalent;
  • 3+ years’ experience in a role interacting with clients, ideally in a finance related environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Skill in multi-tasking and able to work in a constantly evolving business environment and related requirements;
  • Skill in oral and written communications;
  • Skill in preparing presentations and Management Information;
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with clients and prospects, in support of Client Manager/HoD;
  • Ability to work independently, showing initiative and motivation in the face of challenging situations;
  • Ability to utilize software packages including accounting software, MS Office and other financial software packages, knowledge of Kastle is a definitive advantage;
  • Basic understanding of main financial information;
  • Ability to handle stressful situations;
  • Ability to meet deadlines;
  • Ability to compile and prepare reports, and
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
