Business Development Manager

Our client in the aviation and telesales industry is currently looking for a business developer manager to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Making initial customer contact through visits to prospect for new business
  • Maintain and develop relationships with customers in person and via telephone calls and emails
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and closing sales
  • Gather information regarding market trends and provide feedback to the management upon which sales strategies can be formulated
  • Develop and continue to strengthen the client’s brand image on all mediums including Web site, presentations, events and social media channels
  • Adopt a flexible approach to adopt to the requirements of the business 
  • Generate Sales pipeline
  • Prepare and perform Sales presentations to generate new business
  • Participate in corporate events both locally and internationally
  • Oversee the organisation of conferences and corporate events locally and internationally
  • Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities
  • Oversees and evaluates market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions


Requirements:

  • Comfortable with targeting new business 
  • Great communication skills whether it be face to face, Skype, phone or email 
  • Ability to persuasively demonstrate product and industry knowledge to clients 
  • Tenacious, Driven and Self motivated
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Good knowledge of the Maltese & foreign  market
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
  • Willing to travel abroad to get new business
