GUI designer

Our client in Malta is looking for a GUI developer in the design department.

 

The Role:

 

The chosen candidate will be expected to work closely with Development and Design teams to achieve a successful product. He/she must create web-pages and integrate ASP Code into your work. The Web Designer will also generate content that is cross-browser compatible, and will contribute in creating projects which are Search Engine Friendly. With a solid understanding of Web-Design Methodologies and proficient with the latest client-side techniques, the designer will have a portfolio showcasing your best work, with links to live projects.

 

 

Experience:

 

- Minimum of three years experience in Web-Design

- Minimum of two years experience in ASP Coding

 

 

Education & Technical Experience:

 

3 to 5 years of relevant Web/GUI designer, Web Applications and UI experience

Proficiency using Photoshop, Dreamweaver.

Familiar with ASP, HTML and Java Script frameworks such as JQuery.

Ability to create functional prototypes of web-based applications

Experience in designing, developing or managing user interface development standards for web applications

Excellent fundamental graphic design and web design skills including presentation, layout, composition, color, and readability

Knowledge of Microsoft technologies is a plus

Knowledge of usability testing methods

Proficiency in hand-coding clean, compliant and semantic (X)HTML/ CSS/ Javascript

Knowledge in SEO Principles and Web Layout Skills

Basic knowledge of .NET is considered as an asset but not required.

Bachelor's degree in related field Proficient with Dreamweaver, Photoshop and relevant web-design solutions.
