Translators: English/ Italian, English/ German, English/ French

Our client is looking for Translators from  English/ Italian, English/ German,  English/ French to be based in Malta.

 

Main tasks and responsibilities:

 

The successful candidate will reliably and accurately translate online-game texts as well as other business texts from English into French,German, Spanish or Italian  keeping both text type and target audiences in mind throughout the localization process. Responsibilities also include proofreading and editing existing online texts. The position exists to ensure the quality of our licensed games in your target language, not only to respect language nuances but also to adapt content to culture-specific considerations.

 

Required qualifications:

 

• French, German, Spanish or Italian IS your native language
• You have some work experience as a translator, and ideally have a tertiary degree with a focus on translation, linguistics or languages.
• You are familiar with MS Office; experience with CAT tools is a plus.
• You have excellent written and spoken English-language skills, and can translate English texts accurately into French, German, Spanish, or Italian.
• You ideally have an affinity for computer games and the Internet
• You have good time-management skills.
• You have excellent communication skills.
• You are flexible, work independently, and are a team player.
