Business Development Executive

Requirement: Fluent in the Maltese Language
Our client is looking for an energetic dynamic, assertive business development executive to help increase their already impressive portfolio.
The selected candidate should have the following:
· previous experience in a sales position
· have a good understanding of the sales and marketing process.
· The position involves participating in sales campaigns, meeting with clients, and understanding their needs proposal generation, contract negotiation and project follow-up.
· The ideal candidate should have an ability to think creatively and constantly challenge customers with exciting web solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
• Closing sales-deals.
• Leveraging on existing network of contacts to generate more business for our client.
• Support the Sales team with all marketing requirements as well as campaign planning, budgeting, preparation, execution and measurement as directed by the Sales & Marketing Manager or Directors.
• Attend sales-meetings and follow through with requirements-analysis, generation of proposal, follow-up and closure of sales.
• Act as primary point-of-contact for Client during the sales process and, where necessary, during product development and/or deployment.
• Assist in defining and evaluating recommendations before presenting these to the Client in a number of areas including: Website Development, Content Management, and Search Engine Marketing.
• Proactively finding new ways to build new business and grow accounts.
• Maintaining a vast knowledge of client's business, competition, and latest industry news and trends.
• Generating new prospects by utilizing and expanding existing networks and business relationships. Following up leads and cross-sell referrals.
• Assessing customer’s needs and determine appropriate opportunities and services to offer.
• Identifying leads and responding to RFP’s, quotes for service, sales presentations, negotiations, and initial implementation of desired services.
• Maintaining superior knowledge of competitor products and capabilities along with local markets.
• Offering a degree of account management to support client even after sale is concluded.
• Creating and executing project work plans and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
